We recently followed up on a number of projects we worked on since acquiring the business in 2008. We are always looking to learn from our history and improve growing practices to offer a better product and service. Follow up on previous projects is a practical way of maintaining this philosophy.
Lee Littlechild transferred from an intense and busy sales office at Alpine Nurseries Sydney to Impact Grasses in January 2010. Lee's role as Nursery and Sales Manager has provided many new challenges as Lee focuses on building sales to existing clients and creating new opportunities in the local Queensland market.

r new shadehouse is under construction and the shade canopy is now fully erected.Looking further ahead we have drawn up initial concept plans to utilize vacant space on the existing Impact site. Two flat open areas have been identified totaling over 6,000 m2.
Lomandra fluviatilis ‘ABU7' A, otherwise known as Lomandra Shara TM is a recent Ozbreed release. Impact Grasses has been trialing this plant in Queensland for over 4 years now with great results. It has been grown under various conditions in pot culture and planted in trial locations in the ground to determine its potential for the Queensland market.

Development - Development has started on our new nursery pad which is adjacent to the existing beds. These beds will house mostly Viro-Tubes and some 140mm stock.
